Organizations are facing the latest variants of sophisticated malware every day, and it is evident that traditional solutions are no longer effective in detecting and stopping these new threats. At Check Point, we continuously strive to deliver advanced security solutions that protect businesses against known, unknown and zero-day attacks. That is why we are pleased to share that Check Point has been positioned as a leader by Forrester Research in their new report, The Forrester WaveTM: Automated Malware Analysis, Q2 2016.

Those who are familiar with The Forrester Wave know that it is a trusted resource for technology buyers to learn about more ways they can protect their business against attacks, and find the providers that best meet their needs. A select group of vendors in the market are evaluated based on the strengths and weaknesses of their current offering, strategy, and market presence.

For this report, Forrester’s assessment involved 11 automated malware analysis (AMA) providers and their products, including Check Point SandBlast Zero-Day Protection. These vendors were evaluated over 36 weighted criteria, and Check Point received the top score in the Strategy category (tied).

In the evaluation report, Forrester cites that “Check Point’s overall philosophy and strategy is targeted toward prevention, and underlying this approach is a strong technical offering with intriguing features.” Our threat prevention solution, SandBlast, has a unique CPU-level exploit detection capability to identify threats before malware has an opportunity to deploy any evasion code.

The growth of known and unknown threats is accelerating at a rapid pace, which means companies need AMA to prevent attacks from infecting their network and disrupting their businesses. We are thrilled to see Check Point named as a leader, and we believe this recognition exemplifies our innovation and commitment in providing high-end security solutions that protect our customers from the latest cyber threats.
