These past few months have seen great momentum for Check Point. The CRN 2017 Security 100 List was just released and Check Point tops the list as one of the 25 Coolest Network Security Vendors in the Network Security category. CRN publishes this list every year to help channel businesses find the vendor that provides “the perfect mix of technology and incentives to partner with.” The companies on CRN’s Security 100 list have demonstrated creativity and innovation in product development, as well as a strong commitment to delivering those offerings through a vibrant channel of solution providers.

If you really want to see where “the bits meet the bandwidth” in cyber security, look no further than the VARS, integrators, MSSPs and other solution providers who sell and deliver Check Point software, appliances, and services. Check Point recognizes our partners’ importance to our customers and our channel team spent the better part of last year refining our channel program. This is why we feel honored that CRN has named Check Point to the 2017 CRN Security 100 in the Network Security Category.

When it comes to a company’s security strategy, network security has undergone a major evolution with the advent of next-generation technologies. The CRN Security 100 list includes network security vendors that offer next-generation firewalls, Internet of Things security, network visibility, cloud security, advanced threat prevention, mobile security, and more. According to a recent study by Piper Jaffray, 75 percent of CIOs are looking to increase security investments and 88 percent of them are prioritizing network security.

In addition to recognizing security technology vendors for outstanding products and services, the Security 100 list serves as a valuable guide for solution providers trying to navigate the IT security market. The list aids prospective channel partners in identifying the vendors that can best help them improve or expand their security offerings.

Check Point continues to gain industry recognition for a few reasons – we have great products, created and designed by innovative product teams, and outstanding customer support and various services offered by our Partners. At Check Point, we believe that what benefits our partners will be great for our customers too. We thank CRN for the recognition and will continue to look for ways to improve our channel partner program.

Earlier this month, Check Point President Amnon Bar-Lev was recognized as 2017 CRN Channel Chief for the tenth Consecutive Year. And at RSA Conference, Check Point SandBlast won SC Media’s 2017 Award for Best Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) Protection.
