Check Point Software Rewards Channel Excellence for Securing Migration to the Cloud

What an eventful and truly inspiring year it has been. Excelling through these most challenging times clearly demonstrates the power of partnership; dedicated Check Point Software partners adeptly securing customer journeys to the cloud backed by a solid and secure infrastructure on Azure. Check Point, Microsoft and our partners… This is what I call a triple threat.

These partnerships have led to Check Point’s recognition as the #1 worldwide Co-Sell partner two years running, with over 1700 wins year to date. This enabled Check Point to far exceed the Azure consumption revenue goals, be recognized as being the most transformative partner, and be part of the Q1 winners circle award for top Azure partner-to-partner motions. This was all the result of collaboration.

Check Point and Microsoft jointly hosted an awards event during Microsoft Inspire 2021, recognizing the outstanding performance of our mutual partners throughout the world.

Partners in each geography received recognition in four categories: New Cloud Partner of the Year, Cloud Growth Partner of the Year, GSI/SI/Telco Cloud Partner of the Year, and Cloud Distribution Partner of the Year.

New Cloud Partner of the Year: Recipients in this category are partners who have recently engaged with Check Point on launching new cloud offerings and initiatives in 2020. They have participated in collaborative pro-active planning and we look forward to building on these initial successes over the coming years.

CDW not only achieved over 100% growth for emerging technology, but they also executed superior performance in developing a dedicated Cloud Security Posture Assessment program that proactively drives assessments.

Shellsoft is a new partner in the Philippines who was key in securing our first Cloud Security Posture Management implementation in that region. They quickly came up to speed on all aspects of the Check Point portfolio and engaged early in very well executed joint demand generation activities.

Orange has not only grown 100% quarter over quarter, but they have also become a well-respected Check Point partner with proactive business planning around Check Point cloud security solutions.

Cloud Growth Partner of the Year: Award recipients for this category are recognized for pro-activity, cross sell activity, success in helping customers improve productivity as they migrate to the cloud, year over year growth, and revenue.

Optiv has rapidly adopted the CloudGuard portfolio and is recognized for their collaborative approach in using Cloud Security Posture Management as an integral component of their cloud assessment toolkit for Azure environments.

Seccom Global has enthusiastically adopted the full CloudGuard portfolio and has successfully launched a Posture Management managed security offering to their customers. We have a variety of joint demand generation activities planned for the upcoming months. Seccom Global exhibits all best practice behavior and is a model growth partner.

Computacenter is awarded for their commitment to growing their CloudGuard portfolio within their customer base. Computacenter’s achievements, significant cloud growth year over year, and partnership over the course of 2020 are impressive and we look forward to future engagements.

GSI/SI/Telco Cloud Partner of the Year: Partners recognized in this category are ones who demonstrate synergy across the business on both product and go to market initiatives, technical/project capabilities, year over year growth, and revenue.

Bell and Check Point have been in Partnership for well over 15 years. Together, we secured the first ever Canadian Provincial IT/Cybersecurity Program with the Quebec Government This was a 2-year collaborative effort. This achievement enables every government entity in Quebec including cities, schools, hospitals, ministries and agencies to procure CP solutions; without going to RFP. Bell and Check Point efforts continue beyond this sizeable win, representing our mutual goals to maintain our leadership position in Cloud Security.

Infosys has fully integrated the Check Point CloudGuard portfolio on Azure Cloud Platforms. Infosys hosts and manages Finacle Banking applications on MS Azure, where Infosys offers end-to-end management and operational services for their customer. CloudGuard is used extensively in the payment processing space. It provides enterprise class security for deep inspection of the application, and advanced threat protection. Infosys also works with multiple customers across Media, Travel and Hospitality verticals.

NTT has a long-standing partnership that demonstrates commitment to Check Point as a technology provider, and they experienced 10x growth year over year in their Check Point cloud business. They consistently execute targeted campaigns and sales opportunities with their enterprise customers on Azure. NTT’s Secure By Design’ GTM approach dovetails well with Check Point market proposition.

Distribution Cloud Partner of the Year: Distribution partners recognized in this category engage on a variety of proactive initiatives, including brand awareness, cross sell / upsell, partner support, partner recruitment, marketplace collaboration, and more.

Synnex / Westcon’s distribution team proactively seeks channel partners to sell Cloud Solutions. They also hold monthly webinars & events focused on partner enablement to drive cloud sales, all while achieving the highest cloud bookings number in the Americas in 2020.

Dicker Data is an extremely proactive Distributor in the cloud space who is very skilled at leveraging their large Microsoft Partner-base. They are highly regarded by Check Point channel partners for adding value and proactive engagement, including joint partner recruitment activities that focus on monetization and streamlining business processes.

Arrow, located in London England, achieved the highest Azure bookings number in 2020 in Europe. They integrated with and enabled solution selling via ArrowSphere Marketplace. They are active with new partner onboarding as well as campaign creation and execution to drive Cloud awareness and engagement.
