Winning Combinations: Check Point 2023 CPX Americas Customer Awards

The Check Point CPX 360 Customer Awards demonstrate the creative ways in which Check Point customers are securing everything from endpoints to cloud-based assets and entire digital transformation initiatives. Meet this year’s winners in the Americas.

Our customers always amaze us with their unique implementations of Check Point solutions. Our 2023 CPX 360 Customer Award winners in the Americas are transforming security operations in industries ranging from rail transportation and aerospace electronics to financial services and media.

Check Point CPX 360 2023 delivered a fabulous experience with powerful keynote presentations, new content tracks and a preview of upcoming products. Many of our customers generously shared their strategies for defending against cybersecurity threats with Check Point solutions.

Once again, the annual CPX 360 Customer Awards Video Showcase highlights global customers and their inspiring successes as they advance their security agendas. Award categories feature their deployments of Check Point Quantum network security, Check Point Infinity, Check Point CloudGuard and Check Point Harmony solutions. Categories and Winners

The first award category is Quantum Implementation of the Year. Wi-Tronix provides real-time rail monitoring for safety and sustainability. The company deployed Quantum to provide high performance and scalability with cloud integration and easy management across multiple data centers. Rutch Johnson, IT Director, said, “The value of Quantum included peace of mind and deeper visibility into network traffic. It was wonderful working with the Check Point team.”

In the Infinity Implementation of the Year category, organizations use Check Point solutions to protect against the most advanced threats with a consolidated architecture that reduces costs and increases flexibility.

Siemens Digital Industries Software selected Check Point Infinity as a single-vendor solution to embrace the benefits of network segmentation and zero trust. Ryan Tudor, Director of IT Network and Security, said, “Check Point strengthens our security mission by providing cost-effective firewalls and an extensive suite of security solutions.”

As a global manufacturer of specialty aerospace electronic components, HEICO Aerospace turned to Check Point Infinity to proactively secure its rapidly expanding portfolio of acquired companies. The company gained centralized monitoring, reduced its costs and now has access to innovative security solutions as its business need dictate.

The winners of CloudGuard Implementation of the Year span industries. AT&T adopted Check Point CloudGuard for its internal public cloud security platform and was instrumental in shaping the Check Point Cloudguard container product. “The award highlights the teamwork and collaboration between our two companies,” said Sean Keane, Lead, Cyber Security at AT&T.

Zinnia, a leading life insurance and annuities software development company, moved to the cloud and chose CloudGuard to optimize its security posture. As Saul Schwartz, Information Security Manager, explained, “CloudGuard was easy to deploy and ensured that we were doing things according to best practices as we quickly shifted resources to the cloud.”

In Thomson Reuters’ digital transformation, CloudGuard is delivering deep visibility into its cloud security controls with the ability to easily customize guardrails.

A Harmony Implementation of the Year award goes to Covinoc, a leading Colombian financial services organization. By implementing Check Point Harmony Endpoint, the company enabled end-to-end security from its data centers to mobile endpoints. As Edwin Perez, Technology Manager, says, “Everyone wins. Our internal users rarely see spam and can work securely from anywhere. Our engineers spend far less time solving endpoint problems. And our affiliates know that their services are always available, safe and encrypted.”
