Link Re-Writing Inside Attachments
Links inside attachments are now replaced, so that the websites behind them are inspected every time the link is clicked by an end user
Link replacing / re-writing is a very effective security measure that ensures links are not only scanned when the email is received, but also later – every time the user clicks them.
Harmony Email & Collaboration now replaces links not only in the email body, but also inside attachments, ensuring Phishing attacks that utilize attachments with links are also prevented.
For every new Click-Time Protection policy, replacing links inside attachments will be the default setting. To change the setting in your existing policy, go to the new Link Replacing section in your Click-Time Protection policy.
Note – this feature is now being gradually deployed. You should see it in your portal in the upcoming month.
