Harmony Email & Collaboration can automatically restore all emails falsely quarantined by Microsoft.

About 9 months ago, when Microsoft 365 introduced the Secure by Default principle, customers needed our help with the amount of time they needed to invest in restoring emails that were falsely quarantined by Microsoft.

At the time, the request was to automatically release emails that were falsely quarantined by Microsoft as High-Confidence Phishing, because Microsoft did not allow exceptions to those in their policy.

We released this feature, and it was widely celebrated and is in use by most of our customers.
Harmony Email & Collaboration automatically restores a very large number of emails on a daily basis from the Microsoft quarantine, saving precious time and boosting the productivity of the Help Desk and SOC teams.

After a long period of monitoring to ensure the efficacy is excellent, we are ready to move to the next level.

Harmony Email & Collaboration now allows to automatically restore emails falsely quarantined by Microsoft, regardless of the reason for which Microsoft quarantined them.

To do that, go to Security Settings > User Interaction > Quarantine > Overriding Microsoft Enforcement and check the Override Microsoft… box.

You can also click on the Customize link to select which Microsoft verdicts you wish to re-evaluate and auto-restore.

Notes

  1. Emails block-listed by a Microsoft admin in Microsoft will not be automatically restored.
  2. This feature is being deployed gradually. You should see it in your portal during the next 7 days.
