Introducing One Identity: One Login for All Your Check Point Portals

Check Point customers currently manage two sets of credentials: one for business portals like UserCenter, Partner Map Portal (PMAP), and Support Portal, and another for Check Point Portal. While this two-credential system has served us well, there’s an opportunity to make the experience even simpler.
To improve ease of use and streamline access, Check Point is introducing One Identity – a unified authentication system that brings all Check Point web applications together under a single set of credentials.
Streamlined Access Across All Portals
One Identity enables customers to access all Check Point portals with one username and password, including:
- Check Point Portal (portal.checkpoint.com)
- UserCenter (usercenter.checkpoint.com)
- Support Center (support.checkpoint.com)
- Partner Map Portal (PMAP)
- All Check Point business portals
Rather than managing two separate credential sets, users can now enjoy a seamless experience across the entire Check Point ecosystem.
A Seamless Transition
The migration to One Identity will happen gradually on a per-user basis. There’s no action required on your part – the system will migrate your account behind the scenes. Not all users will be migrated at the same time; the rollout happens progressively to ensure a smooth transition for everyone. Once migrated, you may notice a slightly refreshed design on the Check Point Portal login page.
What to Expect
Single Sign-On Between All Portals
After the full migration is complete, One Identity will introduce true single sign-on between business portals (UserCenter, Product Catalog, Support Portal) and Check Point Portal. Log in once, and you’re automatically authenticated across all Check Point applications – no need to log in separately to each portal.
Unified Password
Once the full migration is complete, your credentials will work across all Check Point applications.
Consistent Multi-Factor Authentication
After full migration, if you use an authenticator app for added security, that configuration will automatically apply across all Check Point portals. No need to set up MFA separately for each application.
Multi-Region Account Access
Once your account is migrated, you’ll be able to use the existing account selector in Check Point Portal to switch between accounts installed in different regions. This eliminates the need to log off and log back in when accessing accounts across regions – simply select the account you need from the account selector.
Bring Your Own Identity Provider (IDP)
After the full migration is complete, One Identity enables customers to configure their own Identity Provider and use it across all Check Point portals. Once you’ve set up your IDP in your Portal account and linked your UserCenter account, One Identity intelligently detects your configuration and routes you to your organization’s SSO login page automatically – providing a consistent authentication experience across all linked applications.
Rollout Timeline
One Identity is launching through a gradual, per-user migration beginning May 19th and running for approximately two weeks. Users will be migrated progressively – not all at once – to ensure a smooth transition.
During Migration (May 19th – early June):
- Users are migrated automatically on a rolling, per-user basis
- Your migration timing may differ from other users in your organization
- Once your account is migrated, you’ll be able to switch between accounts in different regions using the account selector in Check Point Portal
- During this period, you’ll continue using your existing credentials for each portal set as usual
After Full Migration Complete (Estimated early June):
- Unified credentials activated across Check Point Portal and UserCenter portals
- Single sign-on between all business portals and Check Point Portal goes live
- All users can access all portals with one set of credentials
- Notification messages will appear in Portal and UserCenter confirming the unified credentials are now active
You don’t need to take any action – your account will be migrated automatically during the deployment period.
Looking Ahead
One Identity is part of Check Point’s ongoing commitment to improving operational efficiency and delivering a more unified customer experience. By simplifying access management, we’re making it easier to focus on what matters most: protecting your organization.
