Check Point Harmony Endpoint recognized as a Top Product in Corporate Endpoint Protection by AV-TEST

Check Point Software is pleased to announce that its Harmony Endpoint security solution successfully passed the latest AV-TEST Institute’s lab tests and has been named a “Top Product” in Corporate Endpoint Protection by this independent IT security organization.
Check Point Harmony Endpoint received the highest score for protection and usability criteria.
In November-December 2020 AV-TEST evaluated Check Point Harmony Endpoint among 19 endpoint protection products in its Corporate Endpoint Protection testing.
The AV-TEST Institute’s product testing is known for its independence, rigor and reliability. As an example, Check Point’s endpoint protection capabilities were tested under real-world threat conditions, assessing its ability to fend off the latest and most sophisticated attacks.
Harmony Endpoint scored 17.5 out of a maximum 18 points based on protection, performance, and usability in Windows 10 (64-bit) environments. The product achieved the highest results for:
- Protection against zero-day malware attacks, inclusive of web and e-mail threats
- Detection of widespread and prevalent malware discovered in the last 4 weeks
- Usability, incl. disruptions caused by false positives and false warning messages (Incl. false warnings or blockages when visiting websites, false detections of legitimate software as malware during a system scan and false warnings or blockages of certain actions carried out whilst installing and using legitimate software)
