Check Point Awarded Silver Stevie for Achievement in Developing and Promoting Women
We are proud to be awarded the 2023 Silver Stevie for Achievement in Developing and Promoting Women! At Check Point, we believe that a diverse workforce encourages a wider variety of skills, talents, and viewpoints, leading to further creativity and innovation. Our employees comprise diverse backgrounds, ages, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and abilities. They are encouraged to be themselves and contribute to our culture, growth, and development. It’s the combination of this diversity and uniqueness of each individual that helps us improve, develop, learn, and succeed.
Earlier this year, we achieved gender parity in the C-Suite. This was a great achievement, but with women holding less than 20% of leadership roles across the technology industry, there is still much work to be done. We are doing our part by actively educating the next generation of cybersecurity professionals via SecureAcademy and more than 170 educational partners around the world.
We are also actively working to recruit, retain and promote women via
- Mentoring programs
- Four month leadership development program for future leaders
- Females in Roles Everywhere (FIRE) employee group
- Active membership in industry organizations including Pink Umbrella, She Codes, FemaleHack and WiCyS
As Yiftah Yoffe, Worldwide VP of Human Resources explains, “Our company ethos is centered around organizations deserving the best security and we can only do that with the best people. We strive every day to foster a collaborative and innovative culture with a commitment to gender equality, diversity, and inclusion while positively impacting our local communities.”
