Check Point Software Technologies Expands SecureAcademy™ Program in Canada with Eight New Universities and Colleges to Empower the Next-Generation of Cybersecurity Professionals

In Canada, SecureAcademy now has partnerships with nine educational institutions, serving students across the country. Canadian partner institutions include Manitoba Institute of Trades & Technology, Fanshawe College, George Brown College, Business & Technical College Training, Southern Alberta Insitute of Technology, Willis College, British Columbia Institute of Technology, Sheridan College, and University of Calgary.

SecureAcademy empowers Canadian post-secondary institutions to foster skilled homegrown talent to combat future cybersecurity threats, building on existing programming. Through the program, students benefit from hands-on experience with Check Point technology and support from Check Point technical experts to equip them with in-demand skills for a career in cybersecurity. Learning tracks include Certified Security Administrator, Certified Security Expert, Automation Specialist, Cloud Specialist, and more.
