Tell us a bit about your background and role at Check Point.

I am a territory account manager with a passion for connecting with people and solving problems. I thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy building strong relationships with clients with a focus on renewals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.

I studied International Law and Linguistics and worked extensively as a translator and interpreter. I also worked at the German Federal Foreign Office in Russia for more than five years. At some point, I decided to join the rapidly evolving IT world—a field I had always been interested in—and I am happy I made that choice. I moved to a new city with my family and started a new chapter in my career. Later, we moved to Germany, where I began working for Check Point.

What does your day-to-day look like as a Territory Account Manager for renewals?

On a day-to-day, I handle subscription and support renewals. This includes tracking contract expiration dates, preparing renewal offers, and managing the entire renewal process. I directly engage with clients to negotiate renewal terms, address any concerns, and maintain positive relationships. I collaborate with many internal departments as well as Check Point partners. And most importantly – I work with account managers to support each other and our customers.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our 12-year-old son. We find joy in cooking, traveling, and playing board games together.

I’m also a passionate dancer. Dance is my ultimate form of expression and connection, and I’m deeply immersed in the global social dance community. My favorite dance styles include bachata, kizomba, and hip-hop. Dance festivals play an integral role in my life, bringing me meaningful connections, joy, and creativity.

In addition, I enjoy volunteering as a translator for a charity organization that helps children with disabilities and actively support environmental initiatives and strive to teach my son about conscious consumption.

What are you most proud of?

During my 6.5 years in IT, I’ve evolved from a beginner to a seasoned professional. I’m proud of my negotiation skills and how I’ve embraced sales acumen to articulate value effectively.

Did you have a career mentor who inspired you to become who you are today? If so, who was it and why?

I am a big fan of Jack Nasher, a negotiation advisor. Getting to know his speeches and books added a new dimension to my work and fueled my desire to grow and become better at what I do. In my everyday life, I try to learn from my colleagues and adopt useful life hacks from them to optimize my work processes.

What challenges do women still face today? Why is it essential that more women are represented in leadership roles?

Women continue to face challenges such as gender bias, unequal pay, and limited access to leadership positions. Increased representation of women in leadership roles is crucial because it brings diverse perspectives, fosters innovation, and paves the way for a more equitable society.

Do you have any advice for the next generation of women?
