Check Point Partners with Georgia to Strengthen Cyber Security Across the Peach State

Check Point has been selected as the official cyber security partner for the State of Georgia through the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) state-wide contract. Cyber-attacks increased 56% this year in the US, with a weekly average of 1,300 attacks per organization per week on average. Education has been hit the hardest with schools experiencing an average of 2,239 cyber-attacks per week, more than doubling the prior year. The utilities industry experienced the largest growth, with cyber-attacks surging 234% to an average of 1,339 weekly, on average. As cyber-attacks grow in sophistication and frequency, the state’s cyber security needs have never been more urgent. By partnering with Check Point, Georgia will now have access to a suite of innovative, next-generation cyber security solutions tailored to meet the state’s unique requirements.
