New SAT Training Modules: Data Classification & Handling and Anti-Money Laundering
Check Point Email Security introduces two new Security Awareness Training (SAT) modules that help organizations strengthen employee awareness around secure data handling and anti-money laundering (AML) practices.
As organizations face increasing regulatory requirements and growing risks associated with human error, employee education plays a critical role in reducing security and compliance gaps. These new modules provide practical, scenario-based training that helps employees make better decisions when handling sensitive information and recognizing suspicious financial activity.
The Data Classification & Handling module teaches employees how to identify different types of organizational data and apply the appropriate level of protection throughout the information lifecycle. Learners explore best practices for classifying, storing, sharing, using, and disposing of data, while interactive scenarios demonstrate common mistakes such as oversharing documents, exposing confidential information, or using unapproved storage locations. The module also reinforces the importance of promptly reporting potential data exposure incidents to minimize organizational risk.
The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) module introduces the fundamentals of money laundering, explains the stages commonly used to conceal illicit funds, and highlights why AML controls are essential for every organization. Through realistic workplace scenarios, employees learn to recognize common warning signs, respond appropriately to unusual payment or account requests, maintain accurate records, and report suspicious activity through the proper compliance channels without compromising investigations.
Together, these modules help organizations build a stronger security and compliance culture by combining practical guidance with realistic business scenarios. By reinforcing secure data handling practices and increasing awareness of financial crime indicators, organizations can reduce operational risk, support regulatory compliance, and empower employees to respond confidently when faced with sensitive situations.
