Now Enforcing File Hash IOCs via Global IOC Management

Harmony Email & Collaboration expands its Global IOC Management to enforce file hash IOCs – strengthening threat coverage across all IOC types.
Global IOC Management provides a centralized way to import and enforce threat intelligence across email and collaboration channels, as well as all other Check Point workspace components. Until now, enforcement focused on malicious URLs and domains. With this update, enforcement is extended to file hashes – including MD5, SHA1, and SHA256 – offering broader protection against known malware and harmful attachments.
Whether IOCs are imported manually or pulled automatically from live external threat feeds, Harmony Email & Collaboration will now act on file hash indicators just like it does on URLs and domains. This enhancement helps security teams operationalize their threat intelligence more effectively, ensuring that content containing known malicious files is proactively blocked or flagged across all protected vectors. By expanding the IOC scope, customers gain improved resilience against file-based attacks sourced from third-party intel platforms or in-house threat research.
