Stop emails from being sent to specific recipients or domains with the new Recipient-Based DLP Block List.

Organizations often need to prevent users from sending emails to specific external recipients or domains for compliance, security, or business reasons. Check Point Email Security now allows administrators to create Recipient-Based DLP Block Lists, providing a simple way to define recipients that should never receive emails from the organization.

The new capability is available under Security Settings > Exceptions > DLP > Block List and allows administrators to create block list entries based on either individual recipient email addresses or entire recipient domains. When a user attempts to send an email to a blocked recipient, the message is automatically flagged as a DLP violation and the configured DLP workflow is triggered.

This enhancement gives organizations greater control over outbound communications and helps reduce the risk of accidental data exposure, policy violations, or unauthorized information sharing. Whether the goal is to block communication with former partners, competitors, personal email domains, or specific individuals, administrators can now enforce these restrictions directly within Check Point Email Security using a centralized and easy-to-manage policy.

This feature is gradually being deployed and will become available in customer portals over the next 7 days.
