As organizations adopt AI tools and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to implement AI applications, security teams face mounting pressure to protect sensitive data, applications, and distributed environments.
Enterprises are looking for security solutions to help them safely adopt AI, protect distributed environments and simplify Zero Trust across hybrid networks.

We’re pleased to announce our latest Quantum Firewall Software release, R82.10 for CloudGuard Network and Quantum Force Firewalls. This new release uses a prevention-first approach by unifying management, reinforcing Zero Trust, and enabling secure, responsible AI adoption across both cloud and on-premises environments.

Let’s take a closer look at several capabilities we’re announcing today:

Safe AI Adoption

GenAI Protect is now available in Check Point firewalls. Organizations can now protect their employees’ usage of AI applications such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, right from their current firewalls – with no browser add-on needed. This powerful capability means that security teams can uncover all the AI tools used across the organization, create policies that prevent data leakage in real time, and maintain compliance through a detailed audit trail. They can also make governance decisions based on the most widely used applications.

On top of that, our on-prem and cloud gateways now secure advanced users leveraging Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to connect AI models (like GPT-4, Claude, or Gemini) with application APIs via publicly available tools like GitHub MCP and Figma MCP—enabling greater productivity.

Tighter Hybrid Mesh Security

Maintaining separate policies to secure internet access for users inside the office with firewalls, and outside the office with SASE, creates operational overhead and inconsistent security. However, thanks to our updated management, you can manage it all in one policy.

Now in Early Availability, our latest release enables unified policy management directly from SmartConsole, allowing admins to reuse the same policy objects and leveraging the same granular controls for internet access across Quantum Gateways (on-prem firewalls), CloudGuard Network (cloud native firewalls) and Harmony SASE (firewall-as-a-service).

Advanced Prevention-First Capabilities

With our prevention-focused ethos, this latest release provides even more preemptive security to reduce the number of threats that reach your network:

  • The latest release introduces phishing protection that works without HTTPS inspection, letting organizations deploy phishing protection faster.
  • It blocks HTML smuggling, an advanced technique that evades detection by building malware locally within a target’s web browser.
  • Our new adaptive IPS and Threat Prevention Insights modules reduce alert fatigue and tighten security by analyzing traffic against current policies and providing actionable suggestions that can be applied with a single click. Based on continuous analysis of network traffic against current IPS and anti-virus policies, organizations get recommendations on how to tighten their IPS settings and threat prevention rules, leading to improved CPU utilization and more effective security overall. Admins can review suggestions at their own pace and apply suggestions with one click.
Elevated Zero Trust

Delivering on our vision of providing an open garden platform, we’re announcing two new integrations, adding to our ecosystem of 250 pre-validated integrations with 3rd party security and IT solutions. With this new release, customers of Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, and CrowdStrike Falcon will be able to apply endpoint posture signals from their existing solutions directly within Check Point security policies, improving identity-based controls and strengthening Zero Trust enforcement.
