Our customers always amaze us with their unique implementations of Check Point solutions. Our 2023 CPX 360 Customer Award winners in the Asia Pacific region are transforming security operations in industries ranging from education and electronics to banking and consulting.
Check Point CPX 360 2023 delivered a fabulous experience with powerful keynote presentations, new content tracks and a preview of upcoming products. Many of our customers generously shared their strategies for defending against cybersecurity threats with Check Point solutions.

Award categories feature their deployments of Check Point Quantum network security, Check Point Infinity, Check Point CloudGuard and Check Point Harmony solutions. Categories and Winners
The first award category is Quantum Implementation of the Year. SK hynix is one of the world’s largest memory chipmakers. When it was time to upgrade firewalls, the company needed a tailored solution for its large, diverse infrastructure. SK hynix standardized on Quantum, providing right-sized solutions across the enterprise and small office locations. The company achieved high performance, resiliency and the most advanced network security available today—with peace of mind.
As Indonesia’s second-largest private bank, Bank CIMB Niaga is committed to protect customer trust by safeguarding their transactions. It transformed its data center, moving to a software-defined model. For its data asset protection initiative, CIMB Niaga chose Quantum security gateways for their stability, extensible technology structure and threat prevention capabilities. This enables the bank to fulfill customer needs and trust. Because for CIMB Niaga, customers are #YangUtama (#matters).
In the Hyperscale Implementation of the Year category, Kotak Mahindra Bank used Check Point Quantum Maestro to consolidate services, maximize capacity and strengthen resiliency. Niral Damania, Associate Vice President, said “Whenever we need Check Point, we just gather on a call and discuss. That’s how we do the solutioning.”
In the Infinity Implementation of the Year category, organizations use Check Point solutions to protect against the most advanced threats with a consolidated architecture that reduces costs and increases flexibility.
Philippine bank, Banco de Oro, gained an entire suite of solutions for solidifying security across its enterprise. “We have a well recognized security leader providing security not just at one point, but in multiple points across our enterprise,” said Paul Siy, Chief Technology Officer.
For Metrobank, Infinity quickly delivered automated cloud posture inspection, unlimited security capacity and improved resiliency. Venus Alba, Head of Security Architecture and Innovation, said, “Infinity is a big cost savings for us and gives us choices and flexibility.”
Technology consulting firm LTI Mindtree won the CloudGuard Implementation of the Year award. The company implemented CloudGuard, gaining visibility across apps, workloads and network for improving posture management. Mr. Kunal Dhingra, CTO and Global Head–Enterprise IT, said, “Check Point has always been innovative. It’s very intuitive and easy to use, and I can manage things far better than with other products.”
The Innovative Project of the Year award was awarded to Hong Kong Baptist University, a leading liberal arts university in Asia. The university implemented Quantum security, unified management, Harmony Mobile and a custom dashboard to gain unmatched visibility. Allan Wong, Director of Information Technology said, “The Check Point solutions helped us solve many security problems and the results have exceeded our expectations.”
