Enhanced Reporting and Alerting on Leaked Data
ByCheck Point Team
Administrator alerts and custom queries now report not only on the leaked data category, but also on the specific leaked data types.
As an API-based email security solution that provides inline protection, sensitive data leakage is prevented by Harmony Email & Collaboration.
In addition to preventing such incidents, customers require detailed reporting on them to learn and educate their users on how to handle sensitive data.
Harmony Email & Collaboration now enhances reporting and alerting on DLP incidents in two ways:
- Custom queries – can now not only filter and report (as an additional column) on the DLP category (PII, PCI etc.) but also on the actual data type that was detected in the incident.
To do that, simply add the Data Types filter or column to the custom query

- Administrative alerts – administrators can add the list of individual data types that were detected to the alert sent to administrators.
To do that – configure one of the alerts and under the list of tags, add the DLP Data Types tag.

Note – these two additions are being deployed separately and gradually. You should see them in your portal during the next 2 weeks.
