Sandy, can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I’m someone who loves making people laugh, growing stronger every day—mentally and professionally—and leading a team I genuinely care about at Check Point.

What led to your decision to join Check Point?

A combination of things! Check Point’s reputation in cyber security was a big factor, but what really sealed the deal for me was the company culture. It’s a place that encourages learning, innovation, and growth—especially for women in tech. It’s inspiring to be part of an organization that values and supports diversity, and I’ve genuinely felt that since joining.

What is your current role and what does a typical day look like for you?

As a Diamond Team Manager I manage a talented team of engineers who handle critical customer cases. My day typically involves overseeing the team’s workflow, supporting them with technical challenges, and ensuring we’re providing excellent service. I spend a lot of time collaborating with my engineers, guiding them through tough issues, and focusing on their professional growth. A big part of my role is making sure my team has the tools and support they need to succeed while keeping everything organized on the managerial side.

What are you most proud of personally and professionally?

Professionally, I’m proud of building a strong, supportive team where people feel comfortable growing and pushing their limits. Seeing my team succeed, solve complex issues, and feel confident in their roles is one of the best parts of my job.

Personally, my biggest pride is my family. They keep me grounded, motivated, and constantly remind me of what truly matters. I also take pride in always learning and evolving—whether it’s through books, experiences, or self-improvement. I recently bought Think Like a Monk by Jay Shetty and The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein, and I love how they inspire a positive mindset.

What can we find you doing outside of work?

Outside of work, I’m all about spending time with my family, especially having fun with my kids. When I do get some free time, you’ll probably find me hanging out with my friends or hitting the gym—it’s my favorite way to unwind and get energized. And of course, I love dancing whenever I can!
