New Department-Based Filters for Security Awareness Training Dashboard and Policies

Avanan now introduces department-level filtering capabilities for its Security Awareness Training (SAT) dashboard and policies.

Security teams can now monitor training performance and assign policies with greater granularity. This update, available for Microsoft 365 customers, enhances visibility into organizational training progress and improves control over how awareness policies are deployed.

The SAT dashboard now supports filtering by department and by policy, helping administrators focus on specific groups when reviewing training engagement and phishing simulation outcomes. Whether assessing the performance of high-risk departments or tailoring initiatives for specific business units, this new filter provides actionable clarity.

On the policy side, administrators can now assign SAT policies directly to specific departments, aligning training campaigns more precisely with organizational structure. The department data is pulled directly from Microsoft 365 Azure AD, ensuring seamless and accurate targeting.
