New Security Awareness Training Modules for Emerging Email Threats
Check Point Email Security introduces two new Security Awareness Training modules focused on evolving email-based attack techniques – AI-Generated Threats Awareness and Link Manipulation & URL Deception.
As cyber threats continue to grow more sophisticated, attackers are increasingly leveraging AI and advanced obfuscation techniques to bypass traditional defenses and deceive users. These new modules are designed to address these emerging risks by equipping employees with the knowledge to recognize and respond to modern attack patterns.
The AI-Generated Threats Awareness module provides a concise introduction to how attackers use generative AI to craft highly convincing phishing emails, impersonate trusted entities, and automate social engineering at scale. It highlights common indicators of AI-driven content and reinforces best practices for validating suspicious communications.
The Link Manipulation & URL Deception module focuses on techniques attackers use to disguise malicious links, including URL shortening, domain spoofing, and misleading anchor text. It trains users to identify subtle inconsistencies in links and encourages safer browsing habits when interacting with email content.
Together, these modules strengthen the human layer of defense by addressing two of the most rapidly evolving threat vectors in email security – helping organizations reduce risk and improve overall resilience against phishing and social engineering attacks.
