We couldn’t be more excited to announce our new partnership with HackShield, the award-winning cyber education platform for children.

This collaboration will bring essential cyber awareness education to kids aged 8 to 12 through HackShield’s gamified learning experience. Our goal: to expand access to high-quality, age-appropriate cyber education and empower young people to become resilient “Cyber Agents” in their schools, families, and communities. Not only does this new partnership align with our values and mission, it will help provide the next generation with a foundation in cyber security knowledge that will last a lifetime.

A Critical Need for Early Cyber Education

Our children are engaging with technology earlier and more independently than ever. Yet in many countries, digital safety is still not part of the core school curriculum. This critical learning gap leaves our children potentially vulnerable to cyber threats.

HackShield fills that gap by turning cyber security education into an immersive game, where children complete missions, earn rewards, and learn how to spot online dangers. By raising awareness about online dangers while children are learning about other subjects they can understand how important online safety is throughout their lives. With over 340,000 young users in the Netherlands and more than 500,000 globally, HackShield is leading the charge in youth digital literacy.

This partnership could not have come at a better time.

According to Check Point Research, cyber attacks targeting the education sector rose by more than 70% over the past year. As schools and families become increasingly connected, building digital resilience from an early age is not just an important area of education and development – it’s essential to keeping them safe.

Combining Strengths: HackShield x Check Point

Through this partnership, Check Point will bring its global cyber security expertise, educational content, and volunteer power to support HackShield’s mission. This includes:

  • ‘Teacher for a Day’ Program: Check Point cyber security specialists will visit primary schools to deliver interactive lessons tailored to kids.
  • SecureAcademy Network Activation: By tapping into our existing SecureAcademy education alliances, we aim to embed cyber awareness into national curricula.
  • Community Engagement: Support HackShield in the development of quality content about cyber security and digital skills to reach more children and families with engaging new educational quests.
  • Events and Webinars: HackShield will join Check Point’s public-facing events and webinars to amplify the conversation about youth and cybersecurity.

HackShield is doing remarkable work preparing kids for safe digital engagement. We know that cyber attacks are increasing across the board, and that no one is immune—including children. That’s why it’s critical to give them access to this kind of training early on. We’re proud to support this mission by sharing our cybers security expertise, educational resources, and global volunteer network, aligning perfectly with the core values of our SecureAcademy program.

A Shared Vision for a Safer Digital Future

While our collaboration will initially focus on schools in the Netherlands, we plan to expand to Belgium, France, Sweden, and the US in 2026. It’s a scalable model working to make cyber education accessible, engaging, and effective for every child.

“With Check Point as a partner, we can scale our impact and empower more children to become Cyber Agents,” says Emily Jacometti, Co-founder of HackShield. “The fact that Check Point employees are volunteering their time to teach in classrooms shows real commitment to our mission. Together, we’re making cyber education more accessible and more relevant than ever.”

Driving Social Impact and Sustainability

This partnership doesn’t just strengthen cyber resilience, it also advances Check Point’s broader sustainability and social impact goals.

The initiative supports several UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:

  • SDG 4 – Quality Education
  • SDG 5 – Gender Equality
  • SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
  • SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities

By helping children gain the perspective and skills to protect themselves online, we are investing in more secure, inclusive, and empowered communities. We’ll be excited to keep you informed about the expansion of this program and its successes!
