High-Performance Firewall Boost for Quantum Force AI-Powered Security Gateways

Check Point’s new Quantum Force Security Gateways leverage NVIDIA’s latest ConnectX-7 network interface cards (NICs). These modular NICs provide software-defined, hardware-accelerated firewall packet processing via 40/100G ports operating at line-rate throughput. This enables Quantum Force security gateways to sustain up to 1,400 Gbps (1.4 Tbps) of firewall throughput in a single appliance, representing a tenfold increase over non-accelerated  solutions. Furthermore, Check Point security gateways offer 2x higher performance, 2x higher port density, and the industry’s lowest energy consumption.

These advancements are key to managing ‘elephant flows’—large, continuous data transfers that can disrupt overall network performance without proper handling.
