Administrators can now limit the protection scope to a specific user group as part of the initial onboarding to Google / Microsoft
Groups Filter is used to limit the protection scope to specific user groups, so that emails of other users are not inspected and licenses are not consumed for them.
Until today, defining a Groups Filter could only be done after connecting to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
Starting today, administrators can define a Groups Filter during the initial onboarding process and before any connection to Microsoft / Google is performed.
To do that, in the first onboarding screen, check the Restrict inspection to a specific group (Groups Filter) box and then type in the required group/s.
