Since opening the Check Point Cyber Center in January 2023, thousands of young people have already visited to learn about the history and future of cyber security.
Located in our Tel Aviv headquarters, the Cyber Center is an educational hub, dedicated to making the cyber domain accessible to the public, while educating about the importance of cyber defense for the future.
Recent visitors include students from the Israeli city of Ofakim and a group of young Ethiopian leaders with the Tech Career Association. Via a series of interactive videos and demos, they learned about the evolution of Gen V cyber threats and the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in both aiding cyber criminals and in preventing breaches. They spent time in the control room, watching cyber attacks crossing the globe, and Check Point’s ThreatCloud AI detecting and blocking them in real time.
Check Point’s Head of Information Engineering, Alon Kanat, hosted the Tech Career visit. As a longtime mentor, Alon explained, “it’s very important to me that the students at Tech Career will know Check Point via this tour, meet the employees and be exposed to the high-tech ecosystem in order to learn about their future career opportunities.”
At Check Point, we remain dedicated to securing the digital world. Our educational efforts extend beyond the Cyber Center to Check Point MIND’s comprehensive training certifications and SecureAcademy’s educational program offered in partnership with universities around the world.
As our Founder and CEO Gil Shwed says, “we are reaching out to all parts of society, inviting them to learn more about cyber security and making the world a safer place. While ensuring we provide the best security, we also want to invest in the next generation of entrepreneurs and enable cyber security knowledge to be accessible to all.”
