By Oleg Mogilevsky, Product Marketing Manager, Threat Prevention

Check Point Software is pleased to announce that its Harmony Endpoint security solution successfully passed the latest AV-TEST Institute’s lab tests and has been named a “Top Product” in Corporate Endpoint Protection by this independent IT security organization.

Check Point Harmony Endpoint received the highest score for protection and usability criteria.

In November-December 2020 AV-TEST evaluated Check Point Harmony Endpoint among 19 endpoint protection products in its Corporate Endpoint Protection testing.

The AV-TEST Institute’s product testing is known for its independence, rigor and reliability. As an example, Check Point’s endpoint protection capabilities were tested under real-world threat conditions, assessing its ability to fend off the latest and most sophisticated attacks.

Harmony Endpoint scored 17.5 out of a maximum 18 points based on protection, performance, and usability in Windows 10 (64-bit) environments. The product achieved the highest results for:

  • Protection against zero-day malware attacks, inclusive of web and e-mail threats
  • Detection of widespread and prevalent malware discovered in the last 4 weeks
  • Usability, incl. disruptions caused by false positives and false warning messages (Incl. false warnings or blockages when visiting websites, false detections of legitimate software as malware during a system scan and false warnings or blockages of certain actions carried out whilst installing and using legitimate software)

This result confirms Harmony Endpoint standing as an AV-TEST “Top Product” in the Corporate Endpoint Protection category. Click here to learn more about the AV-TEST results.
